around the corner.

First Stop: Tbilisi

Tbilisi is named after a legend. King Vakhtang was roaming a forest when his hunting falcon chased down a wild pheasant. The bird fell into a hot water spring, and the king, surprised by the abundance of natural hot water. He named the land Tbilisi- “the place of warm springs”.  Today, you can visit the same spot as the king in Tbilisi’s sulfer bathhouses.

Tbilisi evolved as the crossroads between Europe and Asia- home to a multicultural transit route that built the city. That multiculturalism is still alive in the thriving capital city of Georgia.

Second Stop: Meet our Producers

From Tbilisi, we will travel to meet the winemakers that keep the traditions and culture of Georgian wine.  Our producers vary in regions, with most coming from the largest wine producing part of Georgia- Kakheti. The region is surrounded by  breathtaking mountains and diverse nature. Here you will find the origin of Georgian wine among the vast vineyards. We will visit  the wineries and cellars of  our producers over several days, glimpsing an intimate picture of their lives as wine producers.
