Pi

This symbol of balance and harmony is the philosophy behind Pi Winery and its founding family. In 2020, Teona Omarashvili teamed up with her uncle Levan, to officially brand Pi Wines after years of family centered winemaking. This wine pays tribute to the eternal- like the number π, and reflects a pursuit of perfection that never truly ends. With roots in ancient soil, each sip brings you closer to the elegance of nature’s own equation.
Danieli

Olaf Malver’s life has always been an eternal striving for wisdom, a yearning for more profound knowledge that can be carried over to the next generation, either by teaching or through exploring with others. Fortunately he has been able to pursue this quest with the advent of Danieli wines. This Danish born winemaker married in Georgia and with his wife and children expanded Danieli Winery.
Qvevri Wine Cellar

From the village of Velistsikhe in Kakheti, Ivane Nareklishvili set out to found his own winery. As a third-generation winemaker, Ivane spent 25 years gaining experience working for a variety of wine producers. After spending time studying in Italy- and becoming engrossed in different techniques- he came to understand the future of Georgian winemaking exists in the blend of traditional Kakhetian and contemporary winemaking knowledge. With a modern winemaker’s eye for quality control, and the steady hand of minimal intervention, Ivane honed his ability to finesse a natural ferment to reveal the best of native yeasts and traditional techniques without risking errant slips or spoilage. From this, Qvevri Wine Cellar was born in 2015.
Tedo

With a winemaking career that began in 1985, Tedo Gzirishvili is one of Georgia’s most respected practitioners of both traditional and modern viticulture. At his family winery, Tedo’s Marani, located in Sagarejo, Kakheti, he crafts wines from organically grown, local grape varieties cultivated with great care and respect for the land.

Tilisma

Tilisma Winery is run by Ketevan Akolashvili and Christian Hubert, who transformed a piece of Ketevan’s family vineyard into something genuinely modern, yet deeply Georgian. From the outside, the winery feels like a family estate, but step into their qvevri cellar, and you’ll see the magic: old-school clay vessels, sitting quietly beneath the surface, gently fermenting the region’s iconic grapes.
Napheri Family Winery

Levan Kbiltsetskhlashvili was a successful lawyer in Tbilisi before he decided it was time to change his long-standing career- and his life- in the process. Levan grew up near Mtskheta in the village of Navazi. Above the village sits ruins of the ancient settlement in the region of Kartli with the broken qvevris of the original winemakers, and as a child Levan would explore the ruins on the restless, long summer days. These childhood memories were the inspiration behind Levan eventually becoming a full-time winemaker back in his hometown.
Bagineti Winery: From Mountain to Monastery

At Bagineti Winery, wine isn’t just made, it’s lived. Located in the historic city of Mtskheta, the wine cellar stands on the grounds of the Church of St. Barbara, giving the wines a unique monastic character. Surrounding the church is a beekeeping farm, adding another layer to the monastic lifestyle and reminding visitors that the work here is about more than wine, it’s about reviving and preserving a way of life.
Tilisma Winery: Playful and Seriously Drinkable

Earlier this summer, Saperavi Brothers had the opportunity to further explore Tilisma Winery, a small family-run winery making “natural wines with soul”. This visit turned into a full-blown partnership, and we’re excited to introduce this gem to our portfolio.
Putting Georgian Wine on the Map

As an importer, we take a lot of pride in choosing winemakers who can truly represent what Georgia has to offer. Georgian wine has an incredible history, but here in the U.S., it’s still flying under the radar, and we’re working hard to change that.
