Quick Facts:
Nino and Nana, two sisters from the region of Imereti, set out to revitalize and develop winemaking in western Georgia. The historic region of Imereti is famously set in the legend of the Golden Fleece. According to ancient Greek mythology, Imereti is where the long quest for the Golden Fleece took Jason and the Argonauts. The two sisters have taken that story to heart, where they host both local and international visitors in the tranquil village of Itkhvisi, the location of their vineyards.

The philosophy of Two Sisters is everything local, family-run, and environmentally friendly. They only produce natural wines based on native Imeretian grapes grown in their own vineyards. Two Sisters’ wines are marked with rich aromas, high-acid, medium-bodied, and harmonious profiles. Nino and Nana represent a surge in Georgian women entering into the once only male dominated Georgian winemaking tradition.
