News from Saperavi Brothers: Import Workshop for Georgian Winemakers

In a meeting of tradition and opportunity, Saperavi Brothers’ founder Kosta made a compelling presentation to a group of Georgian winemakers in Tbilisi, offering insight into the pathways- and challenges- of bringing Georgian wine to the United States.

The event brought together producers from across Georgia’s famed wine regions, from Kakheti to Guria. The workshop offered a chance for winemakers to better understand trends and preferences with American wine drinkers and brand strategies to attract this audience.

A part of Saperavi Brothers’ mission is to build a network of Georgian winemakers ready to enter the U.S. market- from natural wine shops to supermarkets to restaurants- and offer them continuous training and experience to reshape their brand. It’s a vision to raise the entire Georgian wine industry as they find their place in the global wine world. What they represent- the ancient practice of winemaking that tells the history and story of an entire nation- is only built through building the industry together.

Saperavi Brothers has always had the goal to be more than just a logistics partner. We want to be cultural ambassadors that help American consumers fall in love with Georgian wine the way we have.

  1. What an incredibly informative and inspiring workshop! A big thank you to Saperavi Brothers for organizing such a valuable event. It was great to connect with fellow Georgian winemakers and gain practical insights into the import process. The sessions on compliance and branding were especially eye-opening. Looking forward to more events like this in the future!
