From its pivotal location at the crossroads of Europe and Asia and embedded in the traditional winemaking of the ancient world, the city of Tbilisi hosted its renowned Winexpo from June 7-9, 2024. Hundreds of people visited Chelti Winery’s booth at its center location inside the expo center, growing Chelti’s brand directly with samples of their high quality wine. The booth was managed by the knowledgeable Chelti team who spent every day of the WinExpo describing their winemaking from the vines to the bottle.    

Chelti received significant recognition with four gold medals and two prestigious trophies: Khikhvi Qvevri 2022, Kvareli 2019, Mukuzani 2019, and Saperavi Qvevri 2017 each received a gold medal, reflecting the consistent quality of these well loved wines. Additionally, their Mukuzani 2019 was awarded the Best Dry Red Wine, and Saperavi Qvevri 2017 was awarded the Best Red Qvevri Wine. These awards are proof of the excellence Chelti strives for every day in Georgian winemaking.
